Tucson police are asking the public for help identifying a man linked to a dozen robberies, and one attempted robbery since last month.

In several of the robberies, the man has shown a handgun to the victims, and has worn at least two wigs, according to a Tucson Police Department Facebook post Friday night.

Police said the incidents occurred:

  • March 12 at Pistacchio Gelato Naturale Italiano, Β 446 N. Campbell Ave.
  • March 22 at Jamba Juice, 2904 N. Campbell Ave.
  • March 24 at CVS Pharmacy, 8705 E. Speedway.Β 
  • March 24 at Subway, 3827 E. Broadway.
  • March 27 at Walgreens, 8730 E. Broadway.
  • April 10 at Tazzina Di Gelato, 5420 E. Broadway, at the Williams Center Plaza.
  • April 14 at U.S. Bank, 6360 E. Golf Links Road, inside Safeway.Β 
  • April 16 at Baskin Robbins, 2648 E. Speedway.
  • April 18 at Wells Fargo, 7050 E. 22nd St., inside Fry’s.
  • April 19 at U.S. Bank, 9050 E. Valencia Road, inside Safeway.
  • April 20 at Wells Fargo, 5535 E. 22nd St., which was an attempted robbery.
  • April 20 at Cold Stone Creamery, 5870 E. Broadway.
  • April 21 at Washington Federal Credit Union, 8675 E. Broadway.

The robber, who has been captured on surveillance cameras, is described as white and is between 25 to 35 years old. He is about 5 feet 8 inches tall to 6 feet tall. He has a medium build.

No further information was released by police.

Anyone with information about the robber's identity is asked to call 88-CRIME, an anonymous tipster hotline.Β
