Eighteen suspects were arrested last week in a two-day domestic violence warrant sweep headed up by the Pima County Sheriff's Department.

On Oct. 24 and 25, Sheriff's employees coordinated with law enforcement agents from the Pima County Attorney's Office and Pima County Adult Probation in an effort to locate and arrest suspects who had outstanding domestic violence warrants, said Deputy Ryan Inglett, a Sheriff's department spokesman.

In addition to the 18 arrests, the 16-hour operation resulted in the service of 25 domestic violence warrants and five other warrants, as teams checked a total of 131 locations.
