Sierra Vista authorities arrested a man last week in connection with the kidnapping and robbery of a local man, but another suspect is still outstanding.

Police have issued a warrant for 42-year-old Gary Hogan's arrest, in connection with four counts of kidnapping, 10 counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and two counts of aggravated robbery, said Corporal Tim Wachtel, a Sierra Vista Police Department spokesman.

Hogan is described as being a balding white man with hazel eyes, who is about 6'2" tall and 200 pounds, Wachtel said.

If anyone sees Hogan, they should not approach him, but instead call 911 or Sierra Vista police's non-emergency dispatch number at 458-3311.

Police are investigating Hogan for an April 25 report by a man who said he'd been kidnapped and beaten with weapons by multiple men at a home on the east side of Sierra Vista. The man was robbed of personal belongings, some of which have been recovered, Wachtel said.

Detectives have served several search warrants in connection with the investigation and conducted numerous interviews.

On April 26, police arrested 24-year-old Joshua Eason in Fry Townsite. He was booked into Cochise County jail for his alleged involvement with the incident and has been charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault, armed robbery and two counts of aggravated robbery, Wachtel said.

Anyone with information about the incident or other suspects are asked to call SVPD Sgt. Sean Brownson at 452-7500.
