With temperatures rapidly approaching 100 degrees, those from outside Tucson might think that our days of patio dining are over for the year.
But little do they know, patio season lasts all year in Arizona. That fact isn't lost on restaurant owners though, as Tucson has a good selection of eateries and bars with welcoming and wonderful patios.
In a May 1 post, Only in Your State chose the "13 Arizona Restaurants With The Most Amazing Patios You’ll Love To Lounge On," and two Tucson spots made the list.
The first Tucson restaurant on the list is Cafe a la C'Art, 150 N. Main Ave., located next to the Tucson Museum of Art.
"The patio here is divine; decorated with mosaics, overhanging plants, and lights, this offers a refreshing dining experience," the post said, adding that the restaurant's dishes are as beautiful as the art next door.
The second Tucson spot on the list is only a short distance away at La Cocina, 201 N. Court Ave.
In addition to its "wonderfully diverse menu sure to satisfy any belly," La Cocina has a patio with plenty of shade, twinkle lights and even live music, the post said.
