The Amphitheater School District is hosting a series of Veterans Day events on Tuesday, Nov. 10.
All veterans and guests are welcome at the event.
The events are:
- Veterans breakfast with military families and students at Donaldson Elementary School, 2040 W. Omar Drive.
- Veterans Day assembly at Wilson K-8 School, 2330 W. Glover Road, featuring the Oro Valley American Legion Post 132 and a former student who served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
- Veterans Day remembrance assembly at Ironwood Ridge High School, 2475 W. Naranja Drive, to honor veterans and faculty members who are parents of military service members. This event is organized by the Veterans Heritage Project, a student club.
