The Tucson Conquistadores is giving $12,500 to the Intermountain Academy for new physical education equipment.

Intermountain Academy serves students from kindergarten through 12th grade with autism.

A check was presented to the school on March 1. Rose Lopez, president and CEO of Intermountain Centers, said in a news release, "This generous gift from the Tucson Conquistadores will play an important part in our curriculum and the advancement of our students. Physical education plays a vital role in socialization and team-building."
