Two Tucson-area districts were honored by the College Board for having outstanding advanced placement programming.
Tucson and Vail unified districts were placed on the Advanced Placement Honor Roll. Two other Arizona districts -- Maricopa Unified and Diocese of Phoenix Catholic Schools -- shared the honor.
Their placement on the Honor Roll means that those districts increased the number of students taking AP classes while also increase the percentage of students who are scoring three out of five or higher on AP exams.
