Four Ironwood Ridge High School students were selected by a foundation to attend a youth program in Pennsylvania.

The Freedoms Foundation-Tucson, which is part of a nationwide organization founded in Valley Forge, Pa., is giving scholarships to Emily Hernandez, Mikayla Kaber, Cory Buechler and Daniel Casanova for a trip from April 6 to 10 to participate in mock Congress, a free enterprise challenge and activities that encourage various leadership skills.

Two teachers, Ken George and Marty Wenzel, will accompany them.
