The Pima County Joint Technical Education District will celebrate the opening of a new campus on March 7.
The Dr. Alan L. Storm Center, which is named after the current superintendent of the district, will open at Sunnyside Unified School District's STAR Academic Center, 5093 S. Liberty Ave.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 5:30 p.m. The center will be open for tours between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m.
There will also be demonstrations from the construction and heavy equipment operations program, as well as a performance by Mariachi del Desierto of Desert View High School and appetizers made by Santa Rita High School's culinary arts students.
