Tucson High teachers get $1,000 from PTA

Teachers at Tucson High Magnet School have received nearly $1,000 in mini-grants from the PTA to purchase classroom materials. The gifts are primarily funded through Produce on Wheels Without Waste events held on the second Saturday of each month from 8 to 11 a.m. in the Tucson High parking lot.

The money will go toward the purchase of Spanish language readers, sheet music, magazines and books, art supplies, props, yoga pose cards and drama supplies.
