A free screening of a film about the mind-body connection that features a University of Arizona scientist will take place Wednesday in Tucson.

โ€œThe Connection: Mind Your Bodyโ€ will be shown at 6 p.m. in DuVal Auditorium at Banner-University Medical Center Tucson, 1501 N. Campbell Ave. Book and DVD signing will begin at 5:30 p.m.

The screening is free and open to the public and will include a presentation moderated by Dr. C. Kent Kwoh, who is director of the UA Arthritis Center and an expert in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and other joint diseases.

Dr. Esther M. Sternberg, a professor at the UA Center for Integrative Medicine, is one of the experts in the film and will be in attendance. Kwoh and Sternberg will be available for questions and answers from 7:30 to 8 p.m.

Sternberg is a member of the UA Arthritis Center, serves on its scientific advisory committee.

Copies of the film on DVD, as well as Steinbergโ€™s books, will be for sale.
