The Pima Animal Care Center is getting in on Black Friday with free pet adoptions.

PACC will hold an adoption event on Nov. 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at its shelter, 4000 N. Silverbell Road. After the event, the sale will continue through Monday, Nov. 28, at these five participating PetSmart offsite adoption locations:

  • PetSmart, 1175 W. Irvington Road
  • PetSmart, 4740 E. Grant
  • PetSmart, 4374 N. Oracle Road
  • PetSmart, 3850 W. River Road
  • PetSmart, 3695 E. Broadway

Adoptive families will be responsible for the standard $17 dog license fee, when applicable. All adopted pets will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

The free adoptions are made possible by Best Friends Animal Society and Zappos.com.
