A candlelight vigil will be held tonight at University Medical Center for U.S. Rep Gabrielle Giffords and the other victims of Saturday's shooting at a northwest side Safeway.

The vigil will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on the sidewalk on the eastside of North Campbell Avenue across from the hospital, according to a Facebook event page.

People planning to attend the vigil are encouraged to park in the lot west of UMC or the neighborhood east of the hospital, across Campbell Avenue.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own candles.

The hospital is located on Campbell north of East Speedway.

Meanwhile, another vigil was being held at the same time at El Tiradito wishing shrine downtown.

El Tiradito - which means "The Outcast" in Spanish - is a block south of the Tucson Convention Center.
