Bill Clinton urged voters to back Hillary Clinton for president at a campaign rally Sunday at Sunnyside High School, saying she knows how to work across party lines.
He vowed that she wouldn't deport 11 million immigrants and will fix the immigration system. He said she will work to pass stricter background checks, although it will be difficult because of NRA opposition.
The event at Sunnyside High School gym was filled to capacity at 2:30 p.m. with people left outside.
Former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, her husband, Mark Kelly, and former Rep. Ron Barber joined Clinton.
