An email sent by Arizona Trump surrogate Jeff DeWit to his supporters has gotten DeWit in hot water with a member of his own party, Secretary of State Michele Reagan.
DeWit, who heads Trump's presidential campaign in Arizona and serves as state treasurer, recently told supporters that the polls in Arizona close at 9 p.m.
This forced Reagan's spokesman, Matt Roberts, to step in on social media this morning to remind him that the polls close a full two hours earlier β at 7 p.m.
On Twitter, Roberts said he was "deeply concerned & troubled" by DeWit's email on the day of the election.
