Twin Peaks roadwork
A truck dumps new soil as it replaces the old with more suitable material to reinforce the bedding for the roadway as work on the Twin Peaks Interchange continues on Thursday, March 18. The $50.5 million project along Interstate 10 between Cortaro Road and Avra Valley Road is being done by Pulice Construction, Inc and is expected to be completed by the Fall 2010.

Lane restrictions are in place on eastbound Interstate 10 at Craycroft Road while workers conduct bridge surface repairs.

Work is scheduled to continue throughout the day Thursday and into early Friday.

ADOT expects to complete the repair to the bridge surface and lift the lane restrictions before the Friday rush hour afternoon commute.

Motorists can use the I-10 frontage road to bypass the traffic restriction.
