Starting Tuesday, March 1, West Grant Road/Ironwood Hill Drive at North Silverbell Road will be reduced to one through lane in each direction, one dedicated right-turn lane and one dedicated left-turn lane. The restrictions will be in place for about two weeks to allow crews to construct new concrete medians at the intersection.
The work is part of the Silverbell Road widening project from Grant to West Goret roads. The work began in July and is scheduled to be completed in November.
The plan is to widen Silverbell to a curbed, four-lane divided roadway between Grant and Goret with raised medians, bike lanes, sidewalks, multi-use paths and other improvements.
