Juan Magallanesย placed first in the 104-mile ride of the 33rd Tucson Medical Center El Tour de Tucson presented by Casino del Sol Resorts this morning.
Magallanes came in at record time, clocking in at 3:54.57.
Erica Clevenger won the women's race coming in at 4:18:57. The 21-year-old woman is from Tempe, Arizona, and is a chemical engineering major at the University of Arizona.
The event - consisting of four different distance events around the city - continues through the afternoon and is expected to have more than 7,000 riders by the end of the day.
