A 29-year-old man was killed Sunday in a traffic crash near Elfrida.
The Cochise County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle crash just after 8 p.m. at milepost 13.5 on Central Avenue outside Elfrida. Deputies learned that a 29-year-old man from McNeal had been ejected in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene, the sheriff's office said in a Facebook posting Monday.
This accident remains under investigation and the man's name was not released.
