Motorcyclist struck, killed by red-light runner in Marana

A 42-year-old motorcyclist was killed Wednesday evening when he was struck by an SUV on West Ina Road at Interstate-10, officials said.

The driver of a Jeep Cherokee headed west in Ina ran the red light about 6 p.m. and collided with the motorcycle that was headed east on the frontage road, Marana police said in a news release.

The driver of the Harley-Davidson, Russell Grimm, was pronounced dead on the scene.
