Music teacher, husband belled for their kindness

What: Ben’s Bells promotes kindness and community involvement. Each week a person who makes Tucson better is “belled.”

Why: Marta Goodwin is a music teacher at Carrillo K-5 Magnet School and incorporates a kindness song into every musical. She is very giving and helps those in need. She and her husband, Bob Holl, have helped many families in need, including refugee families and others in need of a place to live. “Her passion for helping those in need is apparent,” Hickman wrote in her nomination letter.
