On this day 18 years ago, temperatures in Southeastern Arizona reached 111 degrees. Tucson hit 107 degrees.

Tucson might not break any records, but today's high temperatures are expected to come close, the National Weather Service says.

The service has previously said that the temperatures we've been experiencing are above normal for September.

Similar temperatures are expected to continue tomorrow.
