The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the cause of a crash in Oro Valley Monday night.

A person was extricated from a vehicle and transported to a hospital with serious injuries after a crash Monday north of Tucson.

Northwest Fire District and Tucson Fire Department cleared the scene of the crash around 7:30 p.m. on North Oracle Road near West Cresta Loma Drive, just north of East River Road.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the cause of the incident. Northwest Fire said drivers should expect continued delays in the area.
