The 40th annual La Frontera's Tucson International Mariachi Conference is taking place at the Tucson Convention Center until May 8. The conference aims to foster traditional values of mariachi music and baile folklórico.
The student showcase takes place on May 6 at the Tucson Music Hall. Tickets are $15 through tucsonmusichall.org.
