Mission Garden unveils the Santa Cruz Valley National Heritage Area’s heritage mural project on Saturday morning. Young people from Boys and Girls Club of Tucson Pascua Yaqui Clubhouse worked with artists Maxie Adler and Paul “Nox” Pablo to create two new murals.

Inspired by the kids personal experiences at Mission Garden, the murals include depictions of corn and rain, sprouts and squash blossoms, and other regional flora and fauna. The wall is made out of recycled materials by By Fusion, the inside contains melted down bricks of plastic.
