Robbery and assault detectives with the Pima County Sheriff's Department are asking for help from the public in finding a man suspected of shoplifting at a Goodwill store on East Fort Lowell Road near North Dodge Boulevard that took place on June 28,Β according to a sheriff department press release.

Deputies responded to a call around 8 p.m. of a fight in progress and learned staff members had been assaulted by a shoplifting suspect who tried to leave the store.

Security footage shows a single male entering the store and taking clothes and shoes off the racks then attempting to leave without paying, according to deputies. Β He was confronted by employees and fought with them for several minutes before fleeing with the stolen goods.Β 

The suspect is described as 21-26 years old, between 5 foot 6 to 5 foot 7 with a thin build, short black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1 or submit an anonymous tip with potential for a reward by texting, phoning, or by going to 88-CRIME.org
