Sun Link, the downtown streetcar, will celebrate its second anniversary Saturday, July 23, with free rides, a concert and other festivities.

Tucson Electric Power, the Fourth Avenue Merchants Association and Main Gate Square are sponsoring the free streetcar rides.

KXCI 91.3 FM and Main Gate Square are sponsoring a free concert on board the streetcar with Jimmy Carr and The Awkward Moments at 6 p.m.

For the concert, board the streetcar at the Avenida del Convento and West Congress Street stop, across from Mercado San Agustin. You can ride it to Main Gate Square for more music and festivities.

You can check Sun Link's Twitter and Facebook pages to see what streetcar number will be hosting the performance. Information will also appear on the streetcar phone app.

Since it launched July 25, 2014, more than 2 million people have used the streetcar.
