Sun Link and parking

Sun Link will offer free streetcar rides all day Saturday to make access to downtown and the three festivals there easier.

Sun Link is extending the hours of the streetcar for those planning late-night celebrations of New Year's Eve.ย

The streetcar will be available until 2 a.m. the night of Dec. 31, Sun Link announced in a news release Thursday. The streetcar runs through Main Gate Square, Fourth Avenue, downtown Tucson, and Mercado San Agustin.ย

Monday's schedule runs from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. with service every 20 minutes, which is the normal schedule for a Sunday. Regular streetcar hours resume Tuesday.ย

A one-day pass costs $4 and can be purchased at any streetcar stop, online, at sales outlets, or through the GoTucson Transit app. Each ride costs $1.50 and cash is not accepted on the streetcar.ย
