Nine casitas, nestled in a Southern Arizona vineyard, are now accepting overnight guests.

Los Milics Vineyards recently opened The Casitas at Los Milics Vineyards in Elgin, where guest can enjoy views of the Mustang Mountains and Mt. Bruce, affectionately known as β€œThe Biscuit.”

Elgin is about 60 miles southeast of Tucson.

The Casitas at Los Milics Vineyards sit in the vineyard. In the evening, the tasting room is transformed into The Biscuit for dinner.

The one-bedroom suites are furnished with a king-size bed which converts into a living area with a sofa. A separate workspace has with a Murphy double bed. All have private, covered patios.

Amenities include a wine refrigerator, under-the-counter refrigerator, microwave oven, and Nespresso coffee maker as well as robes and slippers. The casitas are all ADA compliant, and pet friendly casitas are available.

Overnight rates range from $325 to $395 per night.

The Casitas at Los Milics Vineyards offers nine casitas with private patios and views of the mountains around Elgin, about 60 miles southeast of Tucson.

In the evening, the LosΒ Milics Vineyards tasting room becomes The Biscuit, where Chef Ana Borrajo, who is from Granada, Spain, blends culinary traditions of Spain, southern Europe and the Mediterranean coastline with flavors of our southern border. Winemaker Pavle Milic suggests Los Milics Vineyards wine pairings. Cocktails and international wines are also available.

Starting Dec. 1, the vineyard, tasting room, dining room and casitas will be open Wednesdays through Sundays.

β€œIt’s always been part of the plan to be a destination for the state,” said Pam Hait, who handles media relations for Los Milics Vineyards. β€œWe’re trying to make the experience meaningful for people.”

A king-size bed descends from the ceiling and when placed up, a sofa and living area are revealed.

This summer, USA Today listed Los Milics Vineyards as the #2 spot in its ranking of Top 10 tasting rooms in the country.

β€œFor an immersive experience in Arizona wine country, look no further than Los Milics Vineyards,” the publication says. β€œTheir Elgin tasting room is flanked by floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the vines, and when it’s not too hot, their patio is a great place to sit and stay awhile with the whole family welcome, even dogs.”

The Elgin tasting room is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays through Mondays. The dining room, The Biscuit, is open for guests at 5:30 p.m. Contact the vineyard about reservations for the general public.
