A 100,000-square-foot warehouse will go up near Grant and Silverbell roads. 

A 100,000-square-foot warehouse will soon be erected on Tucson’s west side.

Copper Avenue Partners LLC bought 7.82 acres of land at 1901 W. Copper St., near Grant and Silverbell roads, from Arizona Lotus Corp. for $1.5 million.

The property was owned by the radio broadcasting station, Lotus, and was recently rezoned to light industrial by the city.

The buyer, operating as Cactus Portable Pods, provides climate-controlled pods for moving or storage and has been operating on South Palo Verde Road for several years.

The new warehouse is expected to be constructed within the next two years.

Robert Glaser, with Picor, represented the seller and Aric Adams, with Kidder Mathews Inc., represented the buyer.

Propeller Properties LLC bought the 12-unit Halmark Apartments, 3130 E. Fourth St., from AZBAHAY LLC for $2.3 million. Allan Mendelsberg and Joey Martinez, with Picor, represented both parties.

Mister Car Wash bought 1.32 acres of land at 7471 S. Houghton Road from MEF Co. for $1.3 million. Aaron LaPrise, with Picor, handled the sale.

Nido 3 LLC bought the 14-unit Mission Apartments at 8908-8936 S. Nogales Hwy. from Missions Enterprises AZ LLC for $850,000. Allan Mendelsberg and Joey Martinez, with Picor, represented both parties.

Kentucky Fried Chicken bought a retail pad at Las Plazas at Old Vail, on the northwest corner of Old Vail and Houghton roads, from OVP Development Co. LLC for $700,000. Aaron LaPrise, with Picor, represented the seller and Greg Saltz, with GPS Commercial LLC, represented the buyer.

DXX Studios LLC, doing business as DXX Dance Studios, leased 2,400 square feet in The Shoppes at Orange Grove, 3835 E. River Road. The landlord, Larsen Baker, was represented by its broker Isaac Figueroa and Dave Hammack, with Picor, represented the tenant.

Nino’s Kitchens LLC leased 2,135 square feet at Colonia Verde Shopping Center, 7159 E. Tanque Verde Road, from ROK Colonia Verde LLC. Dave Hammack, with Picor, represented the landlord.

Tucson Clinical Research Institute LLC, doing business as Tucson Pathology Associates, leased 2,085 square feet at Wilmot Professional Plaza, 6290 E. Grant Road, from Larsen Baker. The landlord was represented by its broker Isaac Figueroa and Molly Mary Gilbert, with Picor representing the tenant.

Earlybird Bikes leased 1,200 square feet at Bear Canyon Shopping Center, on the northwest corner of Tanque Verde Road and Catalina Highway. Isaac Figueroa, with Larsen Baker, and Pete Villaescusa, of CBRE, represented the landlord.
