One lane of westbound Interstate 10 is closed on Tucson's southeast side following a toxic substance spill on Thursday morning.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety said a minor-injury collision involving a tractor-trailer carrying hazardous materials caused the closure. Troopers and firefighters are on the scene.
On Thursday morning, both east- and westbound I-10 were closed but by 1 p.m., eastbound lanes at Wilmot Road were reopened. Just before 3:30 p.m., officials said the right westbound lane remained closed at Kolb Road but the left lane was reopened.
