Police in Tucson are looking for a suspect in a homicide case.
They say officers responded to the call of a man down on a road in the city's midtown area around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Police arrived at the scene on E. Monte Vista Dr. near N. Flanwill Blvd and found a man with obvious head trauma from an unknown cause.
Officers rendered aid until Tucson Fire Department paramedics arrived and took over, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
He's been identified as 29-year-old Mark Garity.
Police say an autopsy was performed and the trauma Garity suffered was from a gunshot.
They say no suspects have been identified and the homicide investigation is ongoing.
