A six-day Excessive Heat Warning goes into effect at 11 a.m. this morning and lasts through Thursday at 7 p.m.
That being said, stay hydrated and practice heat safety, which includes limiting strenuous outdoor activity (maybe save that Father's Day hike you were planning for another week.)
Heat is Arizona's top weather-related killer, so if you suspect someone is suffering from heat-related illness, call 911.
