It's already been a very wet monsoon season for much of southern Arizona, with a few locations picking more more rain in July so far than all of last July.

With plenty of moisture left in the area, showers and thunderstorms are expected to keep developing into early next week.

Looking ahead, the Climate Prediction Center outlooks suggest that somewhat wetter than average conditions could continue into mid-August.
