The U.S. Forest Service's Tucson dispatch were able to get a brush fire in Redington Pass under control in about three hours, officials say.

The size of the fire was estimated to be 60 acres, according to a Facebook post by Coronado National Forest officials. No structures were threatened by the fire.

The Salto Fire was between mile posts 8 and 10 near Redington Road, according to Pima County Sheriff's Department spokesman Daniel Jelineo.

Three fire engines, two hand crews, two helicopters, an air attack platform and a water tender were at the scene.

Officials say crews are currently working to put out hot spots in the area, but the fire spread has been stopped.

The fire appears to be human-caused and is under investigation, a second post says.
