A group of black Tucson artists hope the Black Lives Matter mural project will break down racial barriers and help launch conversations about the treatment of people of color in the United States.
During Saturday's event, Tucson's downtown was filled with community members of all ages painting Stone Avenue to display "Black Lives Matter" in colorful, painted letters.
