PFAS are chemicals that can be found in water, soil and consumer products and have been associated with harmful health effects. A new Tucson facility will help improve the ability to remove PFAS compounds from contaminated groundwater. Source: "Environmental Toxic Substance Assessment 2022 Update," prepared by the University of Arizona Environmental Health Sciences Center and published by the Pima County Health Department.
