The Forest Service launches review of South32 Hermosa, a multibillion-dollar critical minerals mine southeast of Tucson.
The South32 Hermosa mining project in southern Arizona's Patagonia Mountains has received a $20 million grant from the U.S. Department of Defense meant to accelerate domestic production of battery-grade manganese.
Unprecedented wage increases for a broad spectrum of employees and improved benefits have been secured after years of negotiating for more than 500 bargaining unit members at Asarco.
