A federal grand jury has indicted an Air Force staff sergeant and his spouse in a massive $11 million fraud scheme involving medical devices stolen from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. Prosecutors allege the couple used taxpayer-funded pharmacy supplies to bankroll a lavish lifestyle, including a million-dollar Tucson home and high-end luxury SUVs, before being caught in a multi-agency investigation.
The Pima County Sheriff's Department is refusing to rule out the possibility that multiple suspects were involved in the abduction of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie. As DNA analysis begins on biological evidence recovered from the scene, investigators are also working to identify a masked man captured on doorbell surveillance carrying a tactical backpack and a firearm. Guthrie, the mother of Today show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie, has been missing since February 1.
