Washes and canyons have been flowing strongly around Tucson after seeing the wettest monsoon season on record through July 25, according to the National Weather Service.

"It will need to be restored but we can do so without disrupting water operations or deliveries to our customers," a CAP spokeswoman says.
The CDC recommendation Tuesday applies in counties with COVID-19 transmission rated as high or substantial. Pima County's is now "substantial."
