The UA was unable to require proof of vaccination from students and staff, and this week's court ruling doesn't change the university's policy, according to the Arizona Board of Regents.
Supervisors on Tuesday told the county administrator to return to the board with a policy for mandating vaccinations for county workers. The board, however, shut down a proposal to mandate masks in schools.
At the University of Arizona, 51% of faculty are not on the tenure-track, earn a minimum annual salary of $32,000 and teach on a short-term basis.
