• TIHAN – Volunteer needed to assist with event planning for TIHAN’s largest fundraising event, a live and silent auction. Team members brainstorm ideas and make plans for event theme, décor, entertainment, setup and event flow.
• S.Y.STEM Coalition – Looking for a volunteer with excellent research and organizational skills. Volunteer will manage existing grant proposals as well as research and apply for new grant opportunities. This will be an ongoing position for a few hours a week.
• PCC Adult Basic Education for College and Career – Need volunteers to work with refugees learning English. The Refugee Education Program works with adults who come from all over the world. Classes meet Mondays-Thursdays for three class times: 8:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 12:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m.
• Emerge! Center Against Domestic Violence – Volunteers needed to offer your support to our family services team while assisting families in building healthy relationships through various services and activities, including expressive art, pet therapy and therapeutic interventions.
• Southwest Medical Aid – We need volunteers to help sort goods received and pack the orders we are giving. Some medical experience is helpful but you will work with experienced volunteers who are supervised by medical personnel.
