• Tucson Pima Collaboration to End Homelessness — The group is tasked by the Department of Housing and Urban Development to count those experiencing homelessness in our community. Community members needed to help assess the homelessness in Pima County through a variety of volunteer opportunities.
• Habitat for Humanity Tucson — Holiday helpers needed. Help build homes right now. We are building homes and need help in various phases of construction. Framers, painters and landscape experts needed.
• Volunteer Income Tax Assistance — Valet VITA interview specialists needed. Volunteers will conduct interviews with families and individuals needing tax preparation. Valet VITA is a tax preparation model intended to reduce wait times at busy VITA sites, ensure that all eligible taxpayers receive service without being turned away.
• Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona — Looking for volunteers to support the “Getting Ahead in a Just-Gettin’-By World” workshop for young mothers aged 16-28. In the workshop, the young mothers will examine the causes of poverty as well as create an actionable plan for a more stable future.
• Southern Arizona VA Health Care System — Licensed massage therapists are needed to provide therapeutic massages to veterans in the Community Living Center and outpatient mental health programs at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System. Monday-Friday positions available.
