Today the Reid Park Zoo celebrates the birthday of Penzi, the African elephant, who is one year old. This not-so-little elephant has captured the imagination of the community as she splashes in her mud wallow, gobbles up hay, and follows her big sister Nandi around to learn how to be an elephant. As the Tucson City Council is set to vote on increasing water costs for residentsΒ in unincorporated county areas, theΒ Pima County Board of Supervisors voted Tuesday to oppose differential water rates.Β
