A soggy four days across Tucson dropped 1.2 inches of rain at the airport, bringing the year’s official rainfall total to 5.61 inches, the weather service said.

Despite the recent deluge, the year’s rain totals are nearly half of what they were at this point last season. From Jan. 1 to Oct. 14, 2024, 11.09 inches were recorded at the airport, the official site for Tucson’s rain totals, the National Weather Service here said Tuesday.

It rained more in other places across the city over the past few days.
