Tucson will have a breezy start to the workweek along with a break from unusually hot days, the weather service says.

Breezy to windy conditions are expected in Southeast Arizona with sustained winds of 15 to 25 mph beginning Monday afternoon thanks to a low pressure system moving through the area, the National Weather Service in Tucson said in its Monday morning forecast.

It'll be even breezier on Tuesday.

Also Tuesday, Tucson will see a significant temperature drop. Tucson's high temperature will drop from the mid-90s Monday to the mid-70s on Tuesday, the forecast says.

Tucson's predicted high temperatures this week: 74 degrees Tuesday; 75 Wednesday; and 81 Thursday.

Another weather system is projected to come through the region late this weekend, but the weather service said Monday morning that it was too soon to predict its impact.
