Pam Doolittle hits the ball back while running drills Monday morning on the pickleball courts at Tucson's Himmel Park. Doolittle usually meets up with three other players every Monday to play, but two couldn’t come. She decided to practice her technique instead.
High temperatures in the area are expected to peak from about 103 degrees to 107, the forecast said.
There's a slight chance for storms Tuesday in Pima County but only for areas west of Sells, the weather service said.
