One man's trash is another man's treasure.
Or in the case of the Sonoran dog, apparently a Tucson treasure is another man's trash.
Topix, "a technology company focusing on entertainment and news media," has added the Sonoran dog to its list of the grossest food in every state.
The article starts with the disclaimer, "every one of these is horrible," which makes a person wonder if the writer has even tasted a Sonoran dog.
Because each state has its own unique culture, it also has regional food, of the good and bad varieties, according to the article.
More monstrous (and gross) than the Chicago dog, the Sonoran dog is what Topix considers an over-topped hot dog.
"We should put Chicagoans and Arizonans in a room and let them fight this one out," the article says.
For what it's worth, Topix also considers the In-n-Out burger California's grossest food, so maybe they're just going for shock value with their picks.
