Instacart partnered with The Harris Poll to find out the most popular Halloween candies in each US state. Utah, Idaho, Alaska, Montana and Washington are the states that purchase the most candy. While North Carolina, New York, Florida, Iowa and Connecticut purchase the least amount of candy. Red Vines are the most popular Halloween candy in 10 states, including Arizona, Hawaii, Nevada, Wyoming and Washington. Candy Corn is the most popular in Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, Mississippi, Kentucky, Kansas, Colorado and Arkansas. Twizzlers are the most popular candy in 10 states, including Wisconsin, North Dakota, Missouri, Maryland and Indiana. Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Utah all prefer Swedish Fish. While Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are the most popular Halloween candy in West Virginia and Ohio.
