Zoppé Family Circus

Zoppé Family Circus is making its return to Tucson with acrobatic performances, tricks atop horseback and laughs from Nino the Clown.

January in Tucson means the circus is in town. 

You can also catch the last weekend of the light show at the Tucson Botanical Gardens and a dog-friendly festival in Armory Park. The Tucson Fringe Festival and the Tucson Desert Song Festival also make their return this weekend.

LightsUp! A Festival of Illumination

Tucson J International Film Festival

From Jan. 8-19, dozens of films will be screened at locations in Tucson as part of the Tucson Jewish Community Center's film fest. Most films will also be available to screen virtually.

Zoppé Family Circus

Zoppé Family Circus, featuring Nino the Clown and a cast of seven generations of Zoppés, is back in Tucson this winter. Expect acrobatic acts, a trapeze artist and more. The circus has been a January tradition in Tucson since 2011.

Remembering Thomas "Tiger" Ziegler 

For 60 years, Tom "Tiger" Ziegler was the crier, laugher and counselor at Tucson's Hotel Congress. The iconic Tap Room bartender died Dec. 21 at age 91. Hotel Congress is hosting a celebration of life this Saturday. Bring a story or picture to share of Tiger!
